RECIPE: vegan/GF apple crumble

Vegan and gluten free apple crumble! Leeggggooo!

 

 

 

Ingredients:
 

3 large, chopped apples
¼ cup of coconut sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ cup water
½ cup of gluten free rolled oats
½ cup of almonds
¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
 

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180c

  2. Over a medium heat, place all the apple apples, water and half the coconut sugar and cinnamon into a pan. Cook the mixture for 10 minutes whilst covered. Stir occasionally

  3. Whilst this is cooking, combine the oats, almonds, coconut oil and the rest of the coconut sugar and cinnamon into a blender. Using an S blade, blend for 30-40 seconds (until the desired consistency is reached)

  4. Once the apples are soft, place them into a baking dish. Make sure the entire bottom of the dish is covered

  5. Top the warm apples with the oat, crumble mixture

  6. Pop it into the oven for 20-25minutes

  7. Once the top of the crumble starts to brown, take it out

  8. Serve it up!!

TIP: Serve with banana nice cream or chocolate & hazelnut spread :)
